Sitting at the table enjoying the view
First coffee of the morn watching birds fly
Enjoying the fresh salt air
Puffy floating clouds passing in the sky
Time to gather thoughts and meditate
Giving thanks to The LORD in prayer
Planning what I’ll do that day
Perhaps a little gardening, watering with care
After breakfast a light dusting round the house
Dishes done, now the rest of the day is mine
Fresh spring air is so pleasing to the senses
Last chore would be dinnertime
Sight seeing, while all does rest
While we take a walk around the lake
Sunset is soon to come, home again
Admiring all that God did make
Conversation, and reading keeps our minds attune
Enjoy company with a friend or two
Playing cards or board games gives us practice
Sometimes the men like to shoot pool
Playing music, so relaxing
Prayer before bed to tell our Lord we are so blessed
Sometimes we’ll sit by the fire
He meets our needs and gives us all the best
