An American Victory

We are grateful Dear Lord for all of our troops
Keeping America safe is foremost on their mind
Here we are celebrating the Holiest time of the year
While they are off in other countries no matter what they find

We pray for all of our troops, and their families
That Christmas fills their hearts and soul
And Jesus and His Angels protect them in their plight
While they fight to protect or on patrol

Our country is so great because of all our caring people
These men and women have volunteered to do the job
In keeping with American tradition they fight for our rights
Freedom is the key here and they are all over our globe

We hear heroic stories that touch our souls
Heroic men and women who save the children
No difference of their race or religion
Human kindness and love as we are all brethren

Keep Our Troops in all your prayers now,
and throughout the New Year!
