Autumn Winds
Hurling, spinning, hissing past
Enveloping you in a circle so fast
Colors so brilliant of burnt orange and gold
A change of season is good for our soul

God changed our seasons so bored we would not be
Beauty surrounds us all times of the year can you not see?
All wonderful flowers, shrubs, grass and trees must rest
Squirrels, rabbits, deer forge for winter and all are blessed

Everything, you and me preparing for winter’s chill
Special holidays bring us joy and give us a thrill
Nature will be sleeping even the tiniest seed
All rejuvenation we all need

Autumn winds whirling through
Tossing, tumbling leaves accrues
Fermenting giving soil enrichment it needs
Harvesting for next season all new seeds

To every thing there is a season, and a time to
