Books And Music
Learning is fun and music is divine
Actually it’s good and helps us refine
Some may think it’s finished when we’re done at school
But it’s learning and enjoying for a lifetime and is a tool
No matter what we learn in music or the arts
Dancing, singing, playing games or darts
Spelling is fine for a game of Scrabble
English so we don’t babble
Everything we do we must learn
Mom bakes a cake now it’s your turn
Skiing, skating or riding a bike
Starts from when we were a little tike
Going to a concert to hear the sounds
Or a circus to see all the clowns
Life is wonderful and full of charm
Living, loving and learning cannot do harm
Relaxing, and listening while reading a book
Who knows, you may even become a pastry cook
Whatever your interest science or astrology
Biology, psychology or archaeology
A waitress, pharmacist or a dance teacher
Some may even choose to be a preacher
Police, fireman, doctor or military
Owning a restaurant of fine culinary
It’s our own choice of what we become
Learning and work whatever may come
Our Bible teaches lifelong lessons
Prepares us with strong foundations
Now it’s up to you, learn and have fun
This is what life is all about and has become
Enjoy music, photography it’s your choice
Read up, stand up use your voice
