Deep in thought just the other day
About Jesus with His life He did pay
God chose His parents very careful
Knowing Mary and Joseph were prayerful
His father Joseph a carpenter he was
God didn’t chose a Goldsmith, or Silversmith because
He didn’t want people to adore an object
Everything they made couldn’t last time erect
God wants His people to be spiritual
Material things have a way of going gradual
Now a painful lesson learned
Of all material things they’ve earned
Did not last the waves of time
Nor did it outlast crime
A real lesson here is to put your soul in check
Read the Bible; have faith, put you in countercheck
Have compassion, love, and be of good nature
No one knows the time they’ll be called for sure
Learn and keep God’s Commandments
Keep Bless-ed all God’s sacraments
Believe there is a higher power that is very kind
In the total end you don’t want to be left behind
No matter what religion, faith or belief
Pray and don’t be filled with disbelief
Repent all sins to your Father up above
For in the end you’ll know God’s love
Simple elegance will find you whether rich or poor
Don’t let the sands of time claim you and be unsure

For the Lord God is our light and our protector.
He gives us grace and glory. No good thing will
the Lord withhold from those who do what is
right. O Lord Almighty, happy are those who trust
in you.
Psalm 84:11-12
