I’ve always felt our love was heaven sent
Our love was brought from God on butterfly wings
When we met I could feel the zing in my heart
I felt so happy you made my heart sing
At a party we met through a mutual friend
I knew it was meant to be and I fell deeply in love
It was electric when I showed you an album and our arms touched
Angels guided us to fall in love sent from heaven above
I met an older woman at a bus stop who invited me to her church
I answered I could go only if I could bring my friend David
She was a nurse and said yes her and her husband would pick us up
That Sunday we accepted Jesus as our personal Savior it’s still so vivid
That Christian couple had a wedding dinner and cake for us when we married
I had no idea of meeting anyone and falling in love I just kept reading my prayers
Even after thirty-two years we still hold hands when we walk and smile
When you believe, God will guide you with His angels Heaven really cares
I praise The Lord every day for all of life’s blessings when I awake
God has sent me love, friendship, serenity, peace and a life
David has been by my side through all of life’s struggles and joys
All of my dreams have been fulfilled, I am so happy to be David’s wife
