In Touch With your Feelings

Take delight in little things

Tomorrow may never come

Thank the Lord for all your blessings

Enjoy the morning sun

We wake and start another day

Not everyday is perfect

We ask for guidance when we pray

We cannot try to predict

We know our inner spirit

Do we have love and kindness?

Or, do we cop out and exit?

Do we wonder why we’re friendless?

Time to think and ponder

Ask ourselves many questions

Could we be a bit humbler?

Rid ourselves of any burdens

Make our soul a bit lighter

Fill ourselves with love

Take heed it’s time to wonder

And pray to God Above

We can always make a change

If we choose to improve

It is within our range

We must of course approve

So why not try to live lighter

Remove the weights that hold

Then we’ll find our world brighter

We may find our heart of gold
