Dancing on her toes as a child
Standing on her Daddy’s feet
while he twirled her around
Her parents always played music
Either on the radio, or on the player
Mom held her in her arms while
she danced
She felt the rhythm in her soul and took dance lessons
Daddy called her A Beautiful Dreamer,
and bought her the music box with
the same name
Music to her was a way of life
In her teens after school she watched
American Bandstand
And later played her radio and did her
homework
Music was in her soul
She became a dance teacher
And enjoyed her work immensely
It wasn’t even a job to her
As she always loved dance and music
Those are the lucky ones who feel
passion about their work.
