What a wonderful, delightful day
Wearing of the green
A smile upon your face and say
Are you enjoying the scene?

A St. Paddy’s Day parade of course
Filled with good luck shamrocks
Cart filled with Irish, pulled by a dray horse
Women in pretty emerald green frocks

Green carnations, balloons, floats and top hats
A wearing of the green, the color of the Isle
A joyous day to kick up, and dance on St. Pat’s,
and the Irish do it all in great style

A wonderful Christian day of celebration
Saint Patrick gave them a solid foundation
Of Christian Bible teachings
He stood firm on his preaching
