Spring Is Just A Month Away
Looking forward to fresh flora
Scents after the rain are heavenly
Uplifts our spirits and brightens our aura
Soon all becomes so greenly
Pink and blue morning skies
Birds chirp so lovely to hear
Each and every Spring brings a new surprise
Awakening seedlings that time of year
Freshening our clothing, Spring-cleaning to do
Time for planting, and tulips soon in bloom
Sweeping our walks our neighbors in view
New seasons take away all of our gloom
Colorful rainbows radiate after the rain
A prism of colors delightful to see
Taking pictures of memories to retain
A joyous season Easter when all feel so free
We sing praises to our Lord,
and give thanks to be His guest
His angels protect us with their sword
We are grateful and feel so blessed
