So sweet in my heart are my friends
Precious people who are faithful and kind
Who are there for you in times of turmoil
Sometimes are so very hard to find
Friendships either far or near never far from heart
Thoughtful, considerate and truly a friend
At times we need a person to listen
A true friend will be at your side to attend
A friend who is sensitive to your feelings
Tactful in words, gesture and attitude
A warm tender heart not afraid to say they care
For all these traits we show our gratitude
A friend with good common sense
One who is positive and sincere
Courteous and warm
And brings good cheer
