He sees the sparkle in her eye
And the sweet shy smile
He is so captivated by her charm
Accentuated with her certain style

She is out with her friends
He watches from a distance
She is quite popular
He knows it will take persistence

And knowing one of her friends helps
He approaches like a gentleman
They had a brief conversation
She never knew how it all began

Unknowingly to him she is interested
Describing to her friends the man she met
Never giving his name only shares her feelings
A person she could never forget

Another time a different place they met again
This time he asks her for a dance
He held her close she loved his touch
This was how it all started a fine romance
