So much fun to watch the children run
Jumping in piles of leaves hiding from each one
Beauty surrounds us everywhere
Let the children play do not interfere
Colors so unique that only God could have painted
Hues of golden brown and never antiquated
Neighbors wrapping plants in burlap
Soon the rain falls and brings thunderclap

Much needed rain for the plants and trees
Before the winters freeze
To store the water for a long winters nap
When all will wear a stocking cap
Now when our autumn’s work is done
It’s time for making apple pies and sticky buns
Changing closets for fall and winter clothes
Enjoy the beauty of the fall harvest as the moon glows
