Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October
No one ever thinks it would happen to them
All of us hear about it and some have mammograms
This is the real key here examining yourself
Keeping regular check ups at your doctor
When you notice something different don’t panic
It could be just a cyst or lump from a period
This page is meant for awareness and to
celebrate all of the women who have survived
For those who have not survived hopefully their
families will recognize “Thy Will Be Done.”
Our creator is in charge just as much as when we are born
I do not see this as death, just going home
Please remember these words:
Cancer is limited…
It cannot cripple love,
It cannot shatter hope,
It cannot corrode faith,
It cannot eat away peace,
It cannot destroy confidence,
It cannot shut out memories,
It cannot silence courage,
It cannot invade the soul,
It cannot reduce eternal life,
It cannot quench the spirit,
It cannot lesson the power of
the resurrection.

I am a survivor because I trusted
my creator, and turned it over to Jesus
the perfect physician
I asked The Lord to choose for me
the doctors, treatments and whatever
I would need, and if it was my time
to go home that was fine with me.
