Candlelight Christmas

Here we are visiting stores and malls
To choose that perfect gift
Giving the gift as if it were for Jesus
Brings happiness and joy, and is a lift

This is the season we share with all
To the needy, or send a gift to a soldier
Remember our nursing homes
Bring a smile and make them cheerier

Now our parties begin, dinners and treats
It’s fun to see people we may not see often
Lit candles sets the Christmas mood
Friendships in our hearts do soften

Visiting people we know even neighbors
It’s appropriate not to stay longer then one hour
Just stopping by to say hi makes a person feel happy
A little conversation a smile, and bring a flower

This is Jesus Birthday, and all celebrations of love
Go to honor The Lord with worship at a church or service
Celebrate the fact that we are saved by Jesus Our Lord
Attending regularly we grow as Christians, and good practice
