Forever In My Heart

A pure white rose pressed between the pages of my book
You gave me the purest of roses and one I took
To save, to always remember your kindness
Love is forever and ageless

You are the man of my dreams
God was very kind to me it seems
I am thankful that we met
And you I will never forget

Those walks in the park
And drives in the dark
Are still so thrilling in my mind
Many times we shared made us so entwined

I know too that we will be eternal with God’s love
He sent us love on wings of a dove
As we prayed and asked His direction
We made the love connection

Through God’s grace that we enjoy each new day
A blessing from Jesus and we have fun everyday
The years have slipped by so very fast
Without regret they have passed

You are forever in my heart my love to you I give
It is with you that gives me love to live
May all your days be as sunny as mine have been
We share our love together in our hearts within
