Hideaway Haven

How nice to have a place to meditate and rest
A place serene, and safe is best
To accumulate your thoughts and desires
Before sleep, before one retires
Or, in the early morning dawn
Before coffee hour is gone

Some may choose early afternoon, or eve
To give one’s mind rest or reprieve
Thoughts that are yours alone
Benefits are many, and you may have grown
Love to talk to Our Lord some may call it prayer
Love to speak of Our Holy Bible, it’s time to share

Now I may not be able to quote a specific phrase
Or numbers of the exact quote, but in my days
Lessons learned from the Bible of all mans feelings
Is the best reference book and all of the meanings
Closeness is felt when reading the Bible with Our Lord above
Many riches can be found there and God’s pure love
