School is out
We want to shout
Swimming at the pond
Friends have a bond

Swim and splash
Run and dash
Having fun
In the sun

Home for lunch
Bring the bunch
After we eat
We’ll all meet

We all squint
We give a glint
Watching for fish
It’ll give a swish

We’ll give chase
And pick up pace
Trying to catch the frogs
And bring our dogs

Watch out for Poison Ivy
It is not common ivy
You will itch and scratch
Even a small patch

We’ll play hide and seek
No fair to peek
Just have fun
Jump and run

No books to study
We might get muddy
Playing and having fun
In the bright sun
