From our Lord above
With prayers for our troops
And friends and ones we love

May we all find peace
In the coming New Year
We may reflect on last year
And explore new things that bring us cheer

For the coming New Year
We may profess our love for God
And ask his guidance
Hoping you reflect in this ballade

A time for peace and wonder
