My Online Journal (getting to know me)

As most of you know I am a writer, poet and published author.
David and I will be married thirty-four years this year. We do
not have children. These have been the most happy, and important
years of my life.

My wonderful parents had a baby boy two years after me, but Ben
died two hours old. My parents were devastated. Ben is my guardian
Angel.

I had planned on opening a dress boutique in the late sixty’s, but my
Mother died at age forty-two, I was twenty-five, and I was so devastated
that I quit my day job, and continued travels for two years which was
where my money went. I felt a huge loss in my Mother’s death, as we
were best friends, and I adored her as My Mother. Unfortunately she
had a brain tumor. My Dad left when I was twelve for other women.
After all he was a professional golfer, and the women chased him all
over the country.

My Mother had enough, so they separated, but never divorced.
my Father never remarried, and Dave and I got to know him, as
he lived in Rochester, NY. He only lived ten years after my Mother’s
death, and never remarried.
He never forgave himself. My Dad was only fifty-seven.

I have been a professional model, and professional dancer. I was also
a dance teacher at Arthur Murray’s Dance Studio. Then I decided
to work for a photographer as his secretary. I did payroll, answered the
phone, scheduled appointments, and as a receptionist greeted customers,
and helped people smile for the photographer. Especially children and pets,
people were much easier to talk with. Mr. Raisen at Avenue Photography
did passport photo’s so I met people from all over the world.

David met some of them after we married, as we stayed friends with most
of my friends male or female. Dave was good with people and everyone
liked David. My family loves him to this day. Oh, did I mention David
is from Royal Oak, Michigan and on a trip here to Buffalo, New York we
met through a mutual friend. God brought us together as we had much in
common.

My last job was at a financial institution. I am very happy to have been able
to retire early in life. There is so much to enjoy. David and I traveled, and our
most favorite places to visit are Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada, and Toronto.
Although we have gone many other places.

I love dance, music and the arts. We have gone to museums, science buildings,
art galleries, and we have visited many forts. We love to swim, and do all summer.
I did roller blade until a few years back, and I still ride my bike. Dave bought me this
wonderful folding dirt bike. We can take along on trips. We both have digital cameras,
as we love photography.

We love to read and watch movies. Mostly go to plays in Toronto everything
from Cats to Phantom of The Opera, and have over 300 CD’s. Everything
from the Rolling Stones, Sting, Madonna, Stepenwolf, Pink Floyd, Elvis,
Sade, Santana, and so many more.

I am genuinely a happy person, and love every day. I Love Jesus and The Bible.
We love to go to church services, and have many friends.
I love to clean to loud music it makes the time go faster.

At this time I am still going through cancer treatments. I love to write poetry.
My cancer treatments will end by June 2007. I Praise The Lord for my journey
into wellness.
