Perfect Reflection

Just as God created Jesus in His image
So did God create man in His image
We are a perfect reflection of Our Almighty God!
All the good that we contain is from the Lord

We should all feel blessed that God so loved us
He created a wondrous Earth for us, and all living things
in the sea, and on land
Each day, a new day blessed from God above

God gave us today, although we know tomorrow
will come, God’s promise is one day
Throughout the Bible we are told to cast aside fear
Fear is evil, not from God (I will fear no evil)

The Lord is my Shepherd comes to mind in times
of fear or doubt. After all we are human
So when we rise we praise the Lord
And before sleep we thank our God

We may all have a different image of God
One God, one Spirit, one Jesus son of God
A kind and loving God, and I do not fear death,
because it will be a new beginning of eternal life
