“Oh Mama,” I love pink
Most little girls love pink shades
Mama would say lets try blue
But, when I got older I just loved jade

Many brides choose pink for their Wedding
Pink roses for their bouquet, but blue is loaned
Some people paint their homes pink and white
Older, my favorite color became green all tones

Pink is a very uplifting color
Psychologically it keeps you calm
Pink is not just for women as men like it too
I always thought pink looked great on my Mom

Today I still love many shades of fuchsia
Remember when they brought out the pink stone ring?
Whether carnations, daisies or roses
When I visit my Aunt a flower I bring

So next time you have a sweetheart
Remember her with flowers or even a bouquet
Many kinds of flora some exotic
Her memories of you will always stay

I love to remember Our Blessed Virgin
Mary with a single flower
Purple, red or pink are all derivatives
Adding white to red makes pink
Blue and red make purple
