Roses and lace
Are feminine traits
So pretty are the flowers
With springtime showers
A Rose in her hair
Give a seductive flair
A blouse made of lace
Give her that extra grace
Getting ready for Easter
With her feather duster
Cleaning and window washing
Even shoes and clothes shopping
Springtime is for gardening
Planting and admiring
By summer all will be in bloom
And the scent of sweet perfume
Roses and lace
A corsage in place
For an Easter event
Directly after lent
Women like fancy things
A look or two it brings
Sleek clothing of shimmer
High heels that glimmer
Keeping that feminine touch
Isn’t asking too much
It shows in the family’s home
All is clean and gleams like chrome
It’s all from that feminine touch!
