Silent Night

Can you imagine that most wonderful night?

Traveling upon the sand with a star so bright?

Knowing that their child is the Son of God

Mary and Joseph loved Jesus, who they awed

No room at the inn, or soft satin or lace

Newborn baby Jesus was born full of grace

Our Lord was born and laid in a manger

Mary and Joseph were grateful to its lender

Let’s all celebrate by giving gifts to one another

In honor of Christ’s Birthday in all holiday splendor

and attending a church service in His honor

No gift or offering is too minor or meager

For the poor box takes all gifts or donation

Think of all the lives and how it will brighten

Give freely from your spirit and heart

Remember the message it will impart

A season and holiday, the spirit of giving

Whoever receives, their face will be beaming

We glorify Jesus by celebrating His Birthday

And decorate our homes in a festive array
