Take Time

Be thankful for every day you wake
For all the joyful times you treasure
Little things, a walk in the park, a shooting star
All of our choices are different we cannot measure

Homemade soup, a pecan pie
A moonlit night, a November hayride
Fallen snow, a snowball fight
Soon we’ll enjoy a festive sleigh ride

Grateful for the bright sunshine
A girl’s night out or shopping trip
Dinner for two with candlelight
Toast with a glass of wine and take a sip

Enjoy family, friends and holidays
Show someone you care
Volunteer your time
Take time to say a prayer

Whatever you do enjoy every moment
We never know when our life will end
Enjoy, live, love and have fun
Thank you Lord for all you gave. Amen
