The Beauty Of Changing Seasons
God has created a scenic, colorful season
He changes seasons to refresh the land
Autumn’s colors are gold, bronze and red
Each season so different and grand
Autumn is that time of year nature prepares to sleep
Wind brings down the leaves, and leaves nurture the earth
Rain replenishes the earth to water trees and plants
So in the spring, plants, trees, grass and wheat have birth
Days are shortened less daylight leading to winter’s solstice
Extending from September 22nd to December 20th
Harvest time is a most busy time of the year
There are many celebrations some are just plain myth
Hayrides, church festivities, crafts of country style
All are preparation for Thanksgiving and Christmas
We are thankful to Our Lord for all of the seasons
This season is calming, and has crisp aromas
